We design buildings that are timeless, contextual, and an abstraction of historical reference.

Ben Burger Architect was established in 1995 in Stellenbosch. Over the last 22 years, our guiding principle has been to create buildings that are timeless, while also taking care to reflect the location and historical context of the sites themselves.
This approach encapsulates our design philosophy, and informs all our projects − from additions and restorations, to new contemporary-style houses.
Before starting his own practice in 1995, Ben gained extensive experience at Meiring, Van Der Lecq, Thomas & Ronga in Cape Town, Fred de Kock & Partners in Stellenbosch, and the Cape Town City Council as Architect / Town Planner.

When he is not at his drawing board or on site, Ben is also an avid photographer and cyclist.
